It’s always exciting for us when we are trusted to work with clients for special occasions such as weddings, that’s why we work closely with our customers to ensure we create the perfect look for the day. 

 

In January I met with Sam and his groomsmen in London to discuss fitting them all for Sam’s summer wedding at a lake side resort in New York.

 

After browsing the range of fabrics we finalised on a navy blue open weave hopsack suit (Huddersfield Fine Worsted 100% Wool – 254901), partnered with contrasting sage green bamboo waistcoats (Huddersfield Fine Worsted – 100% Bamboo – 320669). These light, breathable fabric choices will help to keep the boys cool in the heat, whilst also adding texture to the outfit.

 

Once we had picked out the fabrics, we then styled our suits; opting for a minimal and sleek design, before measuring the group and discussing different types of cuts. 

 

After 8 weeks of careful tailoring our suits had returned from the workshop ready for fitting. Each order is fitted carefully to meet the varying needs of each body type and posture. Some simple alterations are then completed before allowing Michael, George, Ben, Danny and Sam to take the suits home ready to look the part for a special day!
